Originally located in the uptown section of Pittsburgh and eventually settling at 4900 Centre Avenue at Devonshire Street in north Oakland-Shadyside neighborhood of Pittsburgh, the firm has seen different homes but has always been firmly rooted in the values of providing personalized service to those in the greatest time of need. From its founder, John A. Freyvogel, Sr. to his successors Thomas J.M. Freyvogel and John A. Freyvogel Jr., to their successors and current principles, John A. Freyvogel, III and Kirk Freyvogel, the firm has served the families of Pittsburgh and its surrounding communities with honesty and integrity for three generations covering nearly a century.
